This website is all about the music team here at CCH. The team exists to support the ministries and services for our Sunday Services, Youth Meetings, Young Adults meetings and Kids/KickStart programs. We desire to exemplify the values of Creativity and Servanthood in the church.
The website contains resources, rosters, music clips etc as well as information for new or potential team members.
CCH Music Team Mission Statement:
To inspire all people to worship the Lord,
and
enter into his presence, his power, and his purposes.
Some basic requirements for involvment:
- Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must have regularly attended Community Church Hornsby for a minimum of six months
- Must be committed to worshipping the Lord
- Must have a basic level of musical skill (we do not provide lessons)
- Must attend regular rehearsals (Varys according to age/service. Click here for the rehearsal schedule)
- Must be available to sing/play several times per month
There's always room and desire to have more people in the team!
We love to find out what peoples gifts and abilities are, and find the ministry that God has designed each one for. We ask new members to come along to our rehearsals for a couple of months to develop relationshsip and get a feel for the CCH team culture. Our usual roster cycle is 2 months (or term). After a couple of months provisional team members are evaluated to determine whether they are ready to become part of our "platform" team.
